We all try and hide them and pretend they don't exist. After all, we don't want others to see us as weak, or as the imperfect people we are...right?
Why?
Why don't we want to show our imperfections? Maybe...just maybe it would let others know they are NOT alone. Maybe we could help someone struggling with issues that through Christ, we have resolved, or are working on.
Oh, wait, could it be that we don't want that? Could it be that we have to prove ourselves better than someone else?
Or...
Is it because we don't want to be judged? To be looked down upon? To be rejected? To lose a friendship?
Or..
Maybe it's a little bit of everything mentioned above?
Doesn't it help though, to know that we are not alone?
Wouldn't it help, not only someone else, but even ourselves, to step out in faith and reach out to one another? To build each other up? To share our stories?
Well, that's just what Author Carey Scott does in her newly released book "Untangled: Let God Loosen the Knots of Insecurity in Your Life"
I want to encourage you to read it!
And as promised you'll find my review of "Untangled" below the image, as well as the link to purchase it on amazon AND the link to a free quiz you can take that will help you to find your tangle.
We all have knots that only God can loosen and untangle. Reading through the pages as Scott shared her own stories, struggles, and insecurities helped me to see my own more clearly. Her scriptures, prayers and honesty were encouraging, as well as knowing she's walked through some of the same things I am right now and with God's loving mercy, grace and guidance has made it through, or either continues to work on...we're not perfect after all. Every day is a new beginning, and another chance to see yourself as God does. Victorious.
